Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) together with SKAL will be organizing the Christmas Shopping Night combined with “Fiesta di Bari”. This will take place on Saturday December 21st , 2019 from 6pm to 9pm. This event will take place in the Kaya Grandi and “Centrum gebied”.
During this event Kaya Grandi will be closed for traffic, giving everyone present the opportunity to walk around freely and enjoy the last minute shopping in a Christmas atmosphere. Santa Claus will also be there so that the kids can take pictures with him. At different locations in Kaya Grandi there will be Gaita music and DJ to give the Christmas atmosphere. There will be stands selling delicious traditional Christmas food/things like “ayaka”, oliebollen, arts and crafts and much more from Marshe di Playa and Bonaire Art & Crafts Association.
Also the elderly parade will come through Kaya Grandi at 7pm. The Christmas Shopping night will be followed with a Fiesta di Bari starting at 8pm to 11pm in the Wilhelmina Park.
All our locals and our visitors are welcome to come and enjoy of this event, and celebrate this festive time of year.
