Tourism Corporation Bonaire is organizing a seminar with as topic ‘Bonaire, The Green Destination’ that will take place this Thursday October 26th, 2017 at Plaza Resort Bonaire. This seminar is organized in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Purpose of the seminar is to work with all relevant private and public stakeholders to determine what they already are doing and are willing to do and able to do to make Bonaire The Green Tourist Destination.
A first step in this direction was made in 2016 when Bonaire received the silver Quality Coast Award. This award was granted by Green Destinations who will be making an important contribution during this seminar. They will further explain the important aspects and developments of sustainability and feature sustainable economic growth opportunities for Bonaire. The seminar will be live streamed on the Facebook page of Tourism Corporation Bonaire.
Other speakers at the seminar are amongst others: representatives of stakeholders and experts that on the basis of their own organization, field of work or expertise will sketch an overview of the current state of affairs and the planned developments and objectives in the area of sustainable economic development for the short term.
TCB would like to challenge the relevant stakeholders with this seminar in what can be done today to apply these and to make up the objectives that can be determined and realized for the next 1 to 2 years.
