Our Miss Tourism Bonaire, Miss Carolin Coffie is preparing to travel to Las Vegas to promote Bonaire during the DEMA show.
This year Miss Carolin Coffie was crowned Miss Tourism Bonaire 2018 and one of her biggest task is to fly to Las Vegas with the team of TCB to take part in the DEMA show. Carolin already achieved a lot this year, for example she took part in different projects like the Coral Restoration Foundation Bonaire, Selibon, Bonaire Blue Destination and there is more to come. She also participated in different social events and with special invitations from among others the Miss Curacao Universe 2018 pageant.
The annual DEMA Show, the largest trade-only event in the world for companies doing business in scuba diving, ocean water sports and adventure/dive travel industries, attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of dive and travel industry professionals from around the world. In addition to providing an arena in which to conduct business and network, DEMA Show offers participants the most extensive education curriculum in the industry including DEMA-Sponsored Seminars and Exhibitor-Sponsored Seminars from participating manufacturers, travel destinations and dive certification organizations. DEMA Show is produced by DEMA, the Diving Equipment & Marketing Association. The Bonaire Pavilion will be exhibiting at the 2018 DEMA Show, which will be held November 14-18 2018 in Las Vegas, NV.
Carolin Coffie task during DEMA will be to inform and promote Bonaire on the opportunities and accessibility of diving. And also inform about Bonaire Blue, where she will talk about conservation, and how we are implementing sustainable usage on our island. There will also be a blue destination area with the opportunity to take photos with our Miss Tourism Bonaire.
