The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Matthew, located over the east-central Caribbean Sea.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Severe wind gusts (>=75 km/h)

Near (thundery) showers there is a risk of severe gusts around 75 km/h until Saturday morning.

Strong to near gale South-West winds, force 6-7 Bft, with occasional gusts around 40 kt are expected. During Friday backing East to South-East. In showers risk gusts up to 50 kt. Warning valid until Saturday morning. Also rough seas with waves 8-12 ft are expected until Friday afternoon. Small craft should exercise caution.
